Come Sing With Us!

Free on Monday nights? Consider adding your voice to East Bay Harmony, the East Bay’s local community four-part harmony a cappella chorus. We’re accepting new members through October 1.
East Bay Harmony is a mixed a cappella chorus that offers an opportunity to all to experience the joy of singing in harmony with others, learn and improve musical skills, and promote music in a warm, welcoming community. EBH embraces popular music as a source of enjoyment and connection that can be shared by all, regardless of background or musical experience.
- All adults are welcome.
- No experience is necessary.
- There are no auditions.
- Rehearsals during September are free for new members; thereafter, dues are $35 per month. (Dues may be reduced or waived in cases of financial hardship.)
Rehearsals are held Monday nights from 7:00 – 9:00 at St. Paul’s Episcopal School in Oakland, located at 116 Montecito Avenue (see map). We’re not affiliated with the church or its choir; we just rent space there.
During our regular season, a two-hour rehearsal with the full chorus is followed by a one-hour Small Group Master Class from 9:00 – 10:00 for those chorus members who are interested in honing their musical skills and ability to blend, with an eye to performing in small groups such as quartets or octets.
Come visit anytime you’d like to listen, meet the chorus, or sing with us. For more info, please send a message to membership@eastbayharmony.org, or contact Mark Bernfield, our music director, at 510-435-5236 or director@eastbayharmony.org.
