For more than 20 years, East Bay Harmony — a mixed a cappella chorus — has offered everyone an opportunity to experience the joy of singing in harmony with others, learn and improve musical skills, and promote music in a warm, welcoming community. EBH embraces popular music as a source of enjoyment and connection that can be shared by all, regardless of background or musical experience.

During the summer, our rehearsals are casual. We work on simple songs just for fun, not for performance. This is a perfect time to visit a rehearsal, check us out, and sing along with us. If you’re interested in stopping by, send an email to membership@eastbayharmony.org, and Allison, our membership coordinator, will help you arrange your visit and let you know about our COVID safety requirements. For more details about how to reach us or find us, see our Contact page.

Rehearsals are held on Monday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Piedmont Center for the Arts, 801 Magnolia Avenue in Piedmont. The dates for summer rehearsals are June 10, 17, and 24; July 8, 15, and 22; and August 19 and 26. If you enjoy your summer experience, you’re welcome to join us as a dues-paying member and continue to sing with us during our 2024–25 season.

A two-hour rehearsal with the full chorus is followed by a one-hour Small Group Master Class from 9:00 to 10:00. This optional, additional hour is for chorus members who are interested in honing their musical skills and ability to blend, with an eye to performing in small groups such as quartets or octets.
